Beveren is one of the Point Ground laces (sometimes called Dutch Lille) which has a specific light unbraided mesh. Bevern motifs have a slightly chunky squared look to the curves...rather like the Mechelins, and more than the other point ground laces. This piece ranks with the Mechelins in complexity and difficulty though it uses a slightly larger thread. |
