Here is another closeup of Beds. The 9 pin edge is very different.
Beds is also commonly found with the leaves/tallies/wheatears as shown.
Unlike the ones in Maltese lace, the Beds
leaves are usually long and narrow.

Bedfordshire Lace Butterfly
Notice the pointed leaves in the butterfly above, as compared to
the more squared off leave in the lace on the left. Both are found in Bedforshire
lace.
