Grandchilds' Christening Bonnet

I just  finished a Hankie/Bonnet for our 1st Grandchild's Christening.  The baby is to arrive on the 19th of November.  I did the Dancing Diamonds Pattern (Buckspoint) and made 54inches to complete the hankie edging. 

I want to thank my Teachers and friends for helping me complete this project. They all are a great support group.  Lacing with friends is great.

Dancing Diamonds from 100 Traditional Bobbin Lace Patterns by Geraldine Stott
and Bridget Cook.

Eric Robert Thompson was Christened January 27, 2002.  He was born Nov. 18, 
2001.  The Daddy in the picture is my Son Craig Thompson.

 
 
I just finished another Christening/bonnet with Bucks Point Lace. Yes we had another Grandchild. We have a beautiful Granddaughter Brooke Elizabeth born on May 13th 2003

Again I would like to thank my teachers who have patiently helped me thru this project. The pattern of the lace is Honesty from A Visual Introduction to Buckspoint Lace.
