The lace is a Tønder pattern from "The Technique of Tønder Lace" by Inge Skovgaard.  The pattern  is "Lace with Spiders" (pattern #14).  I used Tire silk #100 in black, and Tire #50 for the gimp in red.

I designed my lace with hearts outlined with DMC 8 as gimp and spiders in torchon.  The thread I used was a spool of cotton that I had which matched the colour of the pin cushion but had no label.
